Wool is a fascinating living material, known for its robustness and warmth. It is said to be a material that breathes: it has the capacity to retain air and water vapor in its fibers and then expel it. It is thanks to this mechanism that wool regulates heat to keep you in a soft and temperate cocoon. By absorbing up to a third of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, as well as air, wool constitutes a real protective barrier against the elements.

Since the dawn of time, humans have used wool to protect themselves and create a nest where life is pleasant. In fact, wool fibers do not produce static electricity, so they do not capture dust. It is a material which adapts perfectly to your interior thanks to its hypoallergenic properties ( which do not cause respiratory or dermatological allergies ).

Wool represents more than 10,000 years of history between people and herds all around the world. From breeding to weaving, traditions are perpetuated generation after generation. In the Pyrenees, this ancestral know-how is protected by enthusiasts, lovers of their land and tricolor craftsmanship.

Our wool comes from a farm south of Pau. Once or twice a year, the sheep and sheep are shorn for their comfort and well-being. The kilos of wool collected are then transported to Haute-Loire.

It is to the last French wool washing center that we send our wool. An old continuous washing system allows wool to be washed and dried in one day, in water heated to 70°C with biodegradable soap.

Finally, our throws are made in a workshop in Tarn to offer you quality products, made in France.

From shearing to spinning, little hands are busy. They constitute one of the jewels of French craftsmanship. They are the ones who meticulously prepare the blanket that will soon join your living room.
