HYGGE
The Danish concept “hygge” [1] has crossed the seas for several years now. Inspired by the long Nordic winter nights, “hygge” has imposed its style in our cottages, inviting us to return to more simplicity and to enjoy the pleasures of everyday life. Family life at the heart of the house is redesigned so that everyone finds their place in the cocoon. It's about inhabiting the space with a soft and warm decoration, inviting you to recharge your batteries and calm down; subdued lighting, natural materials, welcoming and comfortable seating.

This is what we wanted to extend at Plaids Cocooning, by offering ultra-soft and absolutely tender throws. The Plaid becomes the companion of moments of sharing as well as moments of comfort.
Our house favorite is for the Label Bougies [1] brand of candles. These are two sisters from Lille who chose to create natural candles made in France.
And to cocoon yourself even more at home, there's nothing like a visit to the enthusiastic bookstore, La Lison in Lille [2] to spend the long winter evenings under a blanket reading.
Cocooning also means relearning “slow life” [3]
Take time for yourself and your loved ones, live in the present moment, stay there and enjoy.
