For our collection of plaids in fur plaids, we rely on manufacturing partnerships with weavers who must meet OEKO TEX criteria. This standard imposes strict norms on all technical production practices that respect the environment and people. Each of our products is tested against over 100 substances that are harmful to the environment and to you.

Our manufacturing facilities are located in China, à Changzhou where we've been working with the same supplier for 10 years.

Our quality-conscious partners are improving season by season. Each year, the quality of our products evolves towards excellence, while our prices remain unchanged.
MAINTENANCE

For our faux fur throws, it is best to take them to the dry cleaner for delicate cleaning without damaging the fibers. If you prefer to wash your blanket at home, program your machine on a delicate cycle, without softener, and if possible on cold.

Our little advice, if you have a small stain on your faux fur throw, prefer to wash it by hand in clean water. To preserve your faux fur for as long as possible, avoid too regular washing which will alter the quality of the material.

We invite you to consume responsibly and sensibly: rest assured, neither the size nor the color of the plaid you have ordered will change during transport...If you have any doubts about the characteristics of your plaid, or a question about the color to choose for your decor, contact Emma via emma@plaidscocooning.com. She'll be delighted to advise you.


However, if one or more items really don't suit you, you can always return them within 14 days. To do so, simply click here.


The plaid must be in its original packaging, unfolded and unworn, to be eligible for return. For obvious ecological reasons, a €9.99 fee will be deducted from the refund.

      On the other hand, for a single bed, we advise you to opt for a smaller plaid or blanket, to avoid a "too big" effect that could unbalance the harmony of your bedroom. A standard-sized throw (150x200 cm, for example) will be perfect for a single bed, allowing you to take full advantage of its softness and comfort.

    • How do I wash a faux fur bedspread? Can it be machine-washed? At what temperature?

      Of course, care of your faux fur bedspread is essential to preserve its beauty and softness. Ideally, for optimal, thorough washing, we recommend that you entrust your bedspread to a professional dry cleaner. Indeed, given its volume and the delicacy of faux fur, dry-cleaning by a specialist is the safest solution to avoid any risk of deterioration.

      However, if you prefer to wash it at home, a machine wash is perfectly possible. Choose a delicate or special wool program, with a maximum temperature of 30°C. Use a mild detergent, specially formulated for delicate textiles, and avoid spinning too hard.

      After washing, it's important to air-dry your bedspread flat to avoid deforming the fibers and preserve its softness.
