The fruit of the labor of the artisans we trust, our Plaid Basque Chocolat is 98% wool and made in France. So, as well as being soft, it's also responsible.

Description

When fashion and responsible consumption meet, the result is our Pyrenees wool throws!

For this collection that is so close to our hearts, we wanted to offer you a range of throws made from 98% Pyrenees wool: thick and dense, it comes from Barégeoise sheep. This, always in a logic of revaluation of raw materials.

So, every year, the breeders we trust work hard to harvest the wool that will soon adorn your sofa. From the Pyrenees to the Loire, wool is harvested, woven and then colored. By working with what nature offers us, we are therefore dependent on it, which is why we always offer you as many wool models as possible.

Resulting from artisanal work, each model is unique, which is why the weaving may vary from one model to another.

98% wool from the Pyrenees

Country of production

Our wool plaids collection is 100% French production, That's right! For this collection, we've chosen to work with artisans from a region close to our hearts: the Pyrenees.

Our wool comes from a farm south of Pau. Once or twice a year, the sheep are shorn for their comfort and well-being. The kilos of wool collected are then transported to the Haute-Loire.

We send our wool to the last wool washing center in France. An ancient continuous washing system enables wool to be washed and dried in a single day, in water heated to 70°C and using biodegradable soap.

Last but not least, our plaids are made in a workshop in the Tarn region of France, so that we can offer you quality products made in France.

MAINTENANCE

To wash your throw from the France collection, wash at 30°C on a wool cycle with a suitable detergent.

Above all, do not use a tumble dryer for your wool blanket. Note that wool is a fascinating material and without static electricity, it does not retain dust and other dirt. This saves time on maintenance, there is no need to wash your blanket regularly!

    Our selection for you

At a time when unreasonable over-consumption and over-production have become commonplace, we've chosen to return to our roots. To the roots of an ancestral craft: that of Pyrenean wool.

In the past, woolen plaids were handed down from generation to generation, the sign of a precious fabric. Wool being a naturally warm material, it also bears witness to the bond between man and animal. As well as being a traditional product, we support the local economy and the preservation of purebred livestock.

A fine way of giving back to nature all that it has given us so much.

Our woollen plaids are the fruit of all the little hands that work so hard to make them as high-quality as possible. From Roubaix to the Pyrenees, via the Tarn and the Loire, each French region is honored in the making of this collection.
