Description

When fashion and responsible consumption meet, the result is our Pyrenees wool throws!

For this collection that is so close to our hearts, we wanted to offer you a range of throws made from 98% Pyrenees wool: thick and dense, it comes from Barégeoise sheep. This, always in a logic of revaluation of raw materials.

So, every year, the breeders we trust work hard to harvest the wool that will soon adorn your sofa. From the Pyrenees to the Loire, wool is harvested, woven and then colored. By working with what nature offers us, we are therefore dependent on it, which is why we always offer you as many wool models as possible.

Resulting from artisanal work, each model is unique, which is why the weaving may vary from one model to another.

Country of production

Our collection of wool throws is 100% French production, and yes! For this collection, we chose to work with artisans from a region that is close to our hearts: the Pyrenees.

Our wool comes from a farm south of Pau. Once or twice a year, the sheep and sheep are shorn for their comfort and well-being. The kilos of wool collected are then transported to Haute-Loire.

It is to the last French wool washing center that we send our wool. An old continuous washing system allows wool to be washed and dried in one day, in water heated to 70°C with biodegradable soap.

Finally, our throws are made in a workshop in Tarn to offer you quality products, made in France.

MAINTENANCE

To wash your throw from the France collection, wash at 30°C on a wool cycle with a suitable detergent.

Above all, do not use a tumble dryer for your wool blanket. Note that wool is a fascinating material and without static electricity, it does not retain dust and other dirt. This saves time on maintenance, there is no need to wash your blanket regularly!

Très bonne qualité, bémol sur la couleur

La couleur n’est pas aussi pêchue que sur les photos, l’acetate du plaid faux unis en laine est terne. Dommage

Our selection for you

At a time when unreasonable overconsumption and overproduction have become commonplace, we have chosen to go back to basics. At the roots of an ancestral work: that of wool from the Pyrenees.

Previously, woolen throws were passed down from generation to generation, a sign of a precious fabric. Wool being a naturally warm material, it is also the testimony of a bond between men and animals. Beyond the traditional product, we provide support for the local economy, but also, we promote the preservation of purebred livestock.

A beautiful way to give back to nature all that it has given us so much.

Our wool throws are the fruit of all the little hands who work hard to make them as high quality as possible. From Roubaix to the Pyrenees, via the Tarn and the Loire, each French region is highlighted for the creation of this collection.
